Who we are
Performance in Education specialises in creating and touring award-winning theatre-in-education productions in primary and secondary schools throughout the UK.
Theatre-in-education is an incredibly effective way to engage young people, stimulate learning and inspire involvement. We design and produce memorable learning experiences that make a difference and leave a lasting legacy.
What we do
Performance in Education helps young people understand more about their opportunities, choice, risks and consequences, and make smarter decisions about their health, safety and potential. We specialise in the PSHE curriculum, creating customised learning programmes addressing specific issues including; violence against women and girls, pedestrian and young-driver safety, substance misuse and addiction, youth arson and anti-social behaviour, widening participation, air quality and sustainable travel.
Using professionally trained actors, each live performance is enhanced with interactive workshops, a bespoke scheme of teaching materials and online resources. Each project is supported by a bespoke evaluation, measuring understanding and behaviour change. We ensure that effective, long-term learning is at the forefront of all our in-school presentations.

Using theatre in education as a learning strategy we have created a whole range of PSHE and Citizenship projects. All of our presentations have been developed in partnership with healthcare, education and safety professionals.
